So what can you do to help?
- Spread the word about this website. Tell your family, friends and anyone you know of who is interested in any of the arts to check out this website.
- Sign up for our Newsletter so that you can stay informed about what's happening here.
- Invite any artist, arts group or arts business you know of that is not already listed on this website, to sign up for the Newsletter and get their listing.
- Share your ideas. Anything that you can think of that would help to promote the arts here would be very welcome. Do you know of other communities who have successfully promoted the arts? what did they do? Contact names? Got any ideas for how artists can promote their work? Know of any good books or resources that might help? Anything else?
- Offer to get involved in some way. We will make it clear right here that the goal of any Arts and Culture Foundation of Cochrane efforts or projects will be to produce effective results as quickly as possible.
It is also our goal to match people up with the areas of help where they will most enjoy what they are doing. We want this to be a fun, fulfilling and joyful experience, not one that drains the life out of you.
So if you're interested in the arts and you're the kind of person who likes to help, and to see things accomplished, let us know. We will do our best to find a place for you.
At this point, we don't know yet just what all will come out of this. As ideas are brought forward and explored by the arts community, we'll get word out for the kind of help we need.
But in the meantime, if you would like to get involved, just let us know who you are and what kinds of things you might possibly be interested in doing. That in itself may create new possibilities and ideas, so please don't be shy about letting us know.
